My Story
I chose the name Concrete Flowers Grow because it reflects what I believe in: people and organizations that refuse to let circumstances define them. The ones who break through barriers and build something meaningful, even in hard conditions.
Today, I work with nonprofits in criminal justice reform, youth education, social services, and community development. I write grants. I build websites. I manage narratives through strategic communications. I help organizations secure funding and tell their stories clearly and honestly.
I do this work because I know what it’s like to need someone in your corner. And because the right words, at the right time, can change everything.
Who I Work With
I work with mission-driven nonprofits and organizations focused on criminal justice reform, social services, youth education, and community development. I’m especially drawn to organizations serving marginalized communities and working to create opportunities for people who’ve had to overcome barriers to succeed.
Beyond organizations, I’m also drawn to individuals and projects that embody the spirit of concrete flowers—those who break through hard circumstances to grow and build something meaningful.
If that’s you or your organization, we’re likely a good fit.
How I Work
I work remotely from the Central time zone and collaborate with clients across the country. I offer flexible support depending on your needs, including project-based work, hourly retainers, and temporary coverage during transitions or high-demand periods.
I focus on delivering quality work efficiently, with clear communication and proactive updates throughout. I take full ownership of projects so you can stay focused on your mission while I handle the details.
My Values
Quality. Authenticity. Transparency. Impact.
I’m committed to delivering work I’m proud to put my name on, supporting organizations that create meaningful change, and being clear about what you can expect when we work together.
Work With Me on Your Terms
I offer flexible support designed around your organization’s needs. Whether you need help for one grant cycle, coverage during a staff transition, or rapid-turnaround advocacy work during a legislative session, I can step in and support your goals.
